Claude Code 2.1.300 adds new mod/plugin surface (prompt.change hook, agent.spawn prompt/model rewrites, virtualText prompt decorations, `$.ui.view({agentId})`, RTL `dir` on Text), ships `/advisor` on Claude Platform on AWS, splits cache-creation telemetry by TTL (5m/1h), and emits OpenTelemetry GenAI semantic-convention attributes on trace spans. Plus dozens of fixes to cloud/headless sessions, worktrees, compaction, and MCP tool handling.
