Claude Code 2.1.290 extends plugin/mod hooks with `serverToolUses` (advisor tool calls with ids, inputs, timing), adds `agentId` to `tool.check` to distinguish subagents, adds `ceiling` for org-required approvals, and new `ThemeKey`/`Color` typings. CLI gains `claude attach <name>` and `claude logs <name>` by partial session name, plus `/claude-api managed-agents-onboard` to scaffold Managed Agents (e.g. `deep-researcher`). WebFetch now reports truncation and accepts `offset`

An agent can now inspect its advisor's server-side tool calls via `turn.step.serverToolUses`, distinguish subagent permission checks by `agentId`, address sessions by partial name, and page past 100k chars of WebFetch output with `offset`.

curator note

Point release but ships meaningful hook API additions (serverToolUses, agentId, ceiling, ThemeKey/Color), new CLI subcommands (attach/logs by name, managed-agents-onboard), and a WebFetch offset/truncation API change — all directly consumable by agent authors.
